Revenue Setup Subtask

Use the Revenue Setup screen to see how the project revenue is calculated.

This information is brought into Planning from the accounting system’s billing/revenue setup details, but can be changed here by selecting the Override Revenue Adjustments for Accounting System in the header of the subtask.

Field Description
Override Funding Ceiling

Select this check box if you do not want to use the funding ceiling.

At Risk Value This field is enabled if Override Funding Ceiling is selected.

Enter a specific override amount to add to the existing funding ceiling, which is based on the Funded Rev amount.

For example, if the Funded Rev amount is 100,000, and you want to recognize revenue on the forecast or EAC up to 300,000, you would enter 200,000 here.

The value in this field is also used when amounts are calculated on the Revenue Analysis subtask.

Revenue Type

This field displays the type of revenue.

Revenue Account

This field displays the ID of the revenue account.

Override Settings Select this checkbox to override the default settings.

Columns

The following information displays in the Revenue Setup table.

Column Headings Description
Rev on Cost Uncheck the box in this column for any cost where you do not want revenue calculated.
Rev on Burden Uncheck the box in this column for any burden where you do not want revenue calculated.
Fee on Cost/Burden Uncheck the box in this column for any cost/burden where you do not want fee calculated.
Fee on Hours Select this check box to indicate Fee on Hours.
Fee Rate % This column displays the Fee Rate assigned for any budget line associated with that program. You can also edit the fee rate by entering the new rate in this column. Any fee rate associated with a program overrides the fee rate set at the org level
Use T&M Rates Select this check box to indicate use of Time and Material (T&M) rates
Budget Categories On the left-hand side of the form, select each budget category (Staff Hours, for example) that you want to include the calculation or setup.
